IENA Board Biographies

Ruth Bryant, RN

Ruth serves as IENA Director-at-Large.

 

Ruth Bryant joined the IENA Board in 2016, and serves as a Director-at-Large.

 

She earned her Baccalaureate degree from Mount Marty College in Yankton, SC, followed by her MS and is now a PhD candidate. As a nurse specialist in wound, ostomy, and continence care for the past 25+ years, she has served as President of her specialty nursing organization at the national level.


Currently, Ruth is working as a Scholar in Residence, which gives her the opportunity to coach and facilitate nurses interested in conducting research and evidence based practice in the clinical setting.

 

Ruth enjoys working with nurses to develop their professional role and open doors to pursue new opportunities.
