IENA Board Biographies

Elizabeth "Libby" Zadra, RN

Libby formerly served as IENA's Director-at-Large (2012-2013), President (2014-2015) and as General Duty Occupational Group Director.

Libby is a 1979 diploma graduate from Mercy School of Nursing in Canton, Ohio. Currently, she is working in the PICU at Providence Sacred Heart Children's Hospital. Libby has a variety of nursing experience, including Home Infusion Therapy & Outpatient Oncology.


As a travel nurse, she has crossed the country and the globe, eventually landing her in the Inland Northwest, which she now calls home.


From Libby: "Working on Native American reservations in Arizona to medical mission trips to Nepal, Vietnam, Ecuador and Nicaragua has solidified my passion for what we as nurses do - provide unconditional care for those in need. We are an incredible group!"


Staying involved with the nursing profession is important to Libby. She is a current member of AACN & WSNA. She serves on the Nurse Practice Committee, Nurse Staffing Committee and WSNA PAC.
