Message from the President

My fellow colleagues and IENA members:

Michele Slider, IENA PresidentThis summer I had the opportunity to travel to Seattle and meet with representatives from WSNA Districts across the state. The Inland Empire Nurses Association, District 4, is the second largest and most active district in our state, second only to King County. We hope you will take time out of your busy schedules to participate in some of the events sponsored by your local WSNA district. Be sure to let us know if you have nursing or other healthcare events in your communities or workplaces and we will happily spread the word to our members on our web or Facebook pages.

IENA Elections were held in July for the IENA Board of Directors. We have new faces joining us this month: Bobbi Woodward and Kimberly Ward (Directors-at-Large), Lynette Vehrs (Educational Representative), and Kimberly Parkey (Community/Public Health Representative). We have open positions available so please contact our office if you are interested in being involved with your local district. Your professional experience is invaluable in promoting the nursing profession and advocating for health and safety in our community. Please contact our Administrative Secretary JoAnn Kaiser at
